Spellbinders Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Spellbinders Blog Hop! I am honored to be joining an amazing list of designers today! You will find plenty of inspiration featuring new Stephanie Low & Die D-Lites products on your way. You should have arrived from the wonderful Yana Smakula, if you would like to start the Blog Hop from the beginning, please go to the Spellbinders Blog.

I will start with my projects and will tell you about all the fun details on the prizes at the end of this post. This is what I came up with for today:

You have already seen this llama in the banner and I couldn't resist using it, too! I think it's hilarious :) I first created my background on a panel of white cardstock, masking off a sky and a ground and inking it with an ink blending tool. Then I die-cut all the elements from white cardstock and colored them with Copics and an ink blending tool.

I even have a second card for today, all girly and cute:

Here I used the adorable panda dies. First, I created the watercolor background, applying wet watercolors with a piece of foil. After I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it. Now I die-cut the elements to build my panda, colored it with Copics, assembled it and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added sequins for some bling.

These dies are the cutest, don't you agree? Find them all here. Of course, there can't be a blog hop without prizes! Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop celebrating Love & Friendship! You should have arrived from the wonderful Cheiron Brandon, if you would like to start the blog hop from the beginning, please go here to the Winnie & Walter Blog.

Without further ado, here comes my card for today's event:

I first die-cut the Cover Model: Do You See What I See? from thick white cardstock and adhered it to the card base. Now I created a colorful watercolor background and die-cut the In a Word: Friend Cutaway from it. I layered it with a word die-cut from fun foam and adhered it. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Parentville onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. To finish the card off, I added matching sequins.

I hope you like my project for the blog hop! Now to all the fun details! Of course, there are prizes :)
There will be 4 winners picked at random from the entire blog hop which will each receive $40 credit to the Winnie & Walter Shop! Please leave your comments before February 28th, 11:59 p.m. CST. And now be sure to hop to the fabulous Amy Tsuruta.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 372

Today I am back with my new card for the weekly My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge! This is the Sketch 372:

Such a great sketch offering so many possibilities! Here comes my take:

I first masked off the strip on the front of my card and inked it with various inks using an ink blending tool. After I had removed the mask, I stamped the notes from Jungle Vibes with matching colors. Next, I stamped the images from the set onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the matching dies. I die-cut the stitched rectangle from green cardstock, stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment and adhered the rectangle to the card. Now I adhered all the images and finished the card off with matching sequins.

Now it is your turn! Enter this fun challenge here on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog for your chance to win a $50 gift card to the MFT Shop! Can't wait to see your take :)

Thanks for visiting!
